It’s easy to see a smudge on your neighbor's face and be oblivious to the ugly sneer on your own. Do you have the nerve to say “let me wash your face for you” when your own face is distorted by contempt? Mathew 7:3-5 One of the easiest things to do is to see what is wrong with someone and not you, but Jesus even warns us not to judge not which in other words means that “say nothing about anything” at all. The scripture means that already there is something wrong with you so how can you suggest that someone else needs cleansing. The truth of the matter is that any wrong or faults we see in others are already in us and we always have to check our hearts and mouth so that we don’t criticize others. The bible says in 1John 1:8 “if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Don’t be quick to JUDGE, SO THAT YOU WONT BE JUDGE.
